木原千春の初期にあたる2004年、1979年生まれの木原が25歳頃に制作したリトグラフ作品です。エディションは全20部のみ。今回、2002〜2004年に制作された初期リトグラフ3点を販売します。少部数であることに加え、制作から20年以上を経た現在もこのように美しい状態を保つ作品を3点あわせてご紹介できるのは、roidworksgalleryとして初めてです。3点はいずれも、roidworksgalleryにて新品の額を用いて額装しています。木原の初期表現に触れられる、特別な機会となる一点です。

鮮烈な赤い色面に黒い蜘蛛を大きく配し、脚が画面の外へ伸びていくような構図によって、コンパクトな画面に強い動きを生んでいます。イタヅリトグラフィックとの協働により制作されました。

Dating from 2004, this early lithograph was made when Kihara, born in 1979, was approximately 25 years old. It was issued in an edition of only 20. This release brings together three early lithographs made between 2002 and 2004. It is the first time roidworksgallery has been able to present works from this period together in such fine condition. All three works have been newly framed by roidworksgallery. The small edition and remarkable preservation make this a special opportunity to encounter Kihara's early graphic work.

A black spider extends across a vivid red field. The sharp contrast and outward-reaching composition give the compact work a strong sense of movement. Produced in collaboration with Itazuri Lithographic.
