作品について / About the Work

「Second forbiddance -truth-」は、花や葉を思わせる細部が表面を覆う、リンゴ形の立体作品です。

Second forbiddance -truth- is an apple-shaped sculptural work whose surface is covered with details recalling flowers and leaves.

作家は本作品について、急激に変わる時代を生きる人類を背景とし、禁断の実をモチーフにした作品と説明しています。リンゴには二口かじった跡があり、かじった人物の物語を想像しながら、自身を問い直す作品です。

The artist describes this work as reflecting on humanity living through a rapidly changing era, using the forbidden fruit as its motif. Two bite marks on the apple invite viewers to imagine the story of the person who took those bites and to turn the question inward.

新しい桐箱は、作家本人が本作品用として2026年8月に新規制作したものです。

The new paulownia box was newly made by the artist specifically for this work in August 2026.

本作品は、BSフジ「ブレイク前夜」出演作家のセカンダリー作品を、作家本人の確認を経て適正に再流通させる「ブレイク前夜アーカイブ」の対象作品です。髙橋本人から企画参加とroidworksgalleryによるセカンダリー取扱いへの了承を得ています。販売成立時には、売上の10%を作家へ還元します。

This work is part of the Break Zenya Archive, a secondary-market initiative that verifies works with participating artists before responsible resale. Takahashi has agreed to participate and to have roidworksgallery handle the work in this context. Ten percent of the sale proceeds will be returned to the artist when a sale is completed.

髙橋賢悟は、鋳金を軸に制作する作家です。BSフジ「ブレイク前夜」#79に出演しています。

Kengo Takahashi is an artist whose practice centers on metal casting. He appeared in BS Fuji's Break Zenya episode #79.
