Kihara Chiharu "Camellia"

"Camellia" (Tsubaki) by Chiharu Kihara is a Neo-Silkscreen print created in 2022.

A camellia flower boldly rendered against a golden ground. The flower's center is symbolized by a black square, surrounded by layered brushstrokes in blue-grey — Kihara's distinctive style that minimally yet powerfully embodies her ongoing theme of "Vitalism." The contrast of white leaves makes this a particularly memorable work.
