This early lithograph dates from 2004, when Kihara, born in 1979, was approximately 25 years old. It belongs to a small edition of 20.

A black spider extends across a vivid red field. The sharp contrast and outward-reaching composition give the compact work a strong sense of movement. Produced in collaboration with Itazuri Lithographic.

roidworksgallery presents this work as part of a group of three early lithographs from 2002–2004, all newly framed by the gallery.
