木原千春の初期にあたる2002年、1979年生まれの木原が23歳頃に制作したリトグラフ作品です。エディションは全14部のみ。今回、2002〜2004年に制作された初期リトグラフ3点を販売します。少部数であることに加え、制作から20年以上を経た現在もこのように美しい状態を保つ作品を3点あわせてご紹介できるのは、roidworksgalleryとして初めてです。3点はいずれも、roidworksgalleryにて新品の額を用いて額装しています。木原の初期表現に触れられる、特別な機会となる一点です。

白い紙の余白に、緑と黒の伸びやかな線で鳥の姿を大きく描き、色のアクセントによって鳥の身体と動きを率直に伝えています。イタヅリトグラフィックとの協働により制作されました。

Dating from 2002, this early lithograph was made when Kihara, born in 1979, was approximately 23 years old. It was issued in an edition of only 14. This release brings together three early lithographs made between 2002 and 2004. It is the first time roidworksgallery has been able to present works from this period together in such fine condition. All three works have been newly framed by roidworksgallery. The small edition and remarkable preservation make this a special opportunity to encounter Kihara's early graphic work.

Expansive green and black lines depict a bird across an open white field. The direct linework and restrained color accents convey the bird's body and movement. Produced in collaboration with Itazuri Lithographic.
